New Cobalt testing laboratory opened at Racing Analytical Services Ltd.

A new laboratory equipped with an ICP-MS instrument for the measurement of metals in urine and blood samples has been opened at Racing Analytical Services by the Minister for Racing, Martin Pakula. The facility was established with $200,000 investment from the Victorian Government and an additional $150,000 from industry sources. The IPC-MS will be used for routine testing of blood and urine samples for cobalt and other heavy metals.
